The Annapolis Youth Park was officially opened on Saturday, June 25, 2011. About 150 people came out on a cloudy morning that was threatening rain. Well, the rain held off until the festivities were completed and the organizers had tidied up. Her Honour, the Honourable Mayann E. I can’t believe it! The volunteers laid the sod and planted the trees last Saturday and just like that, Annapolis Royal has a new park. There just happens to be a pretty sick little skate spot in the middle of it. In time, that skate spot will grow.
